The Election Commission of India has released the schedule for by-elections to six vacant Rajya Sabha seats across four states: Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, and Haryana.

The notification for the Rajya Sabha by-elections will be issued on December 3, with the last date for filing nominations set for December 10. Scrutiny of nominations will be conducted on December 11, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until December 13, as per the schedule.

Polling for the by-elections is scheduled for December 20 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with vote counting to take place the same day.

In Andhra Pradesh, by-elections will be held for three vacant Rajya Sabha seats. The vacancies arose following the resignations of Mopidevi Venkataramana, Beeda Mastan Rao, and R. Krishnayya.
