Amaravati: The 75th Constitution Day celebrations will be held on a grand scale across the state. The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to commemorate this occasion with various festivities. The Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution on November 26, 1949, and it came into effect on November 26, 1950.

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution coming into force, the government plans to hold celebrations throughout the state on November 26.

On Tuesday, S. Suresh Kumar, the Secretary of the General Administration Department, directed all department secretaries, heads of departments, and district collectors to organize the 75th Constitution Day celebrations across the state.

As part of these celebrations, floral garlands will be placed at the statues and portraits of the architect of the Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, to pay homage. He recommended that the Preamble of the Constitution be read aloud to all participants in the program.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, along with several ministers and officials, will participate in the Constitution Day celebrations at the 5th building of the State Secretariat in Amaravati at 11:30 am on Tuesday. Kumar also instructed that the 75th Constitution Day celebrations be held in each district under the leadership of the respective district collectors, with district ministers, other public representatives, and officials in attendance.

He urged department secretaries and heads to take the necessary steps to organize the celebrations in all government offices.

Additionally, the Union Culture Department announced that programs such as mass readings of the Preamble of the Constitution will be organized in cities, villages, and schools throughout the year, starting on Tuesday.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that Constitution Day, which falls on November 26, is not only a celebration within Parliament but a festival to be celebrated by the entire country. He emphasized that as people who respect the Constitution, it is important to bring its contents to the attention of the nation.
