YSRCP alleges irregularities in NTR Vaidya Seva hospital inspections

YSRCP NTR District Doctors Wing Chairman Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav has filed a complaint with the Andhra Pradesh Governor, alleging corruption and maladministration within in hospitals inspecton under the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust.

Radhakrishna claimed that certain officials of the trust are exploiting their positions to extort money from hospitals through a systematic racket. He alleged that these officials inspect hospitals, raise allegations, and impose fines via the State Disciplinary Committee (SDC).

Hospitals are then coerced into paying bribes to lift suspensions, resulting in the misappropriation of significant sums of money. He further accused the officials of blatantly disregarding the trust’s guidelines during inspections and alleged that individuals close to ministers and senior health ministry officials are involved in the scam.

He urged authorities to conduct a thorough review of hospitals suspended or fined since March 2024, along with cases where suspensions were later revoked, to uncover the full extent of the malpractice. Demanding swift action, Radhakrishna called for a transparent investigation and accountability, asserting that the people of Andhra Pradesh deserve clean governance in the health sector.
