Massive Fire Breaks Out in Hyderabad’s Old City

A massive fire broke out in the early hours of Monday near Charminar in Hyderabad’s Old City, specifically in Diwan Devdi. The fire erupted in a textile shop on the fourth floor of Madina-Abbas Towers and quickly spread to adjacent clothing stores.
Upon receiving information from local residents, the police and fire department rushed to the scene and began efforts to control the blaze. Ten fire engines were deployed to the site to douse the flames. However, the fire spread to multiple nearby shops, causing significant property damage, according to shop owners.
Business owners in the affected area expressed distress over the extensive losses incurred due to the fire. Firefighting operations were still underway at the time of reporting.
