Naidu Backs Three-Language Policy

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has defended the central government's three-language policy, stating that language is merely a tool for communication. He questioned why learning English as an international language and Hindi as India’s most widely spoken language should be an issue alongside one’s mother tongue.

While acknowledging that knowledge is best acquired in one’s native language, he emphasized that there is no harm in learning additional languages. Response to M.K Stalin on Delimitation Chandrababu Naidu also dismissed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K Stalin’s concerns over constituency delimitation, asserting that the process is necessary for national interests.

He clarified that the NDA-led central government has no hidden political motives behind its implementation. Addressing Stalin’s remarks, Naidu stressed that delimitation has become an urgent requirement and noted that boundary redefinition occurs every 25 years.

He highlighted the need to prioritize national interests, emphasizing that population management and boundary adjustments are separate issues. Focus on Foreign Languages in Education In a significant educational initiative, Naidu revealed that plans are underway to introduce ten foreign languages in Andhra Pradesh universities. He explained that learning foreign languages would enable students to pursue global job opportunities, enhancing their career prospects.
