Anaswara Rajan Responds to Allegations from Director Deepu Karunakaran

Young and talented actress Anaswara Rajan, known for her work in Malayalam cinema, has gained nationwide recognition, thanks to the rise of OTT platforms. However, she recently found herself at the center of controversy after director Deepu Karunakaran accused her of refusing to participate in the promotions of their film Mr & Mrs Bachelor.

In response, Anaswara has strongly refuted these claims. Taking to Instagram, she clarified that she had already given an interview before the film’s scheduled release and pointed out that the only online promotional interview available so far is the one she participated in.

“I had already given an interview before the scheduled release date as part of the film’s promotions. The only online promotional interview available for this film is the one I did,” she stated.

The actress also emphasized that she did her part by sharing posters and trailers but was unaware of the change in the film’s release date. Furthermore, she warned that she will not remain silent if defamatory statements continue to be made against her.

Taking the issue further, Anaswara has filed a formal complaint against Deepu Karunakaran with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).

Mr & Mrs Bachelor stars Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan in lead roles. As the controversy unfolds, all eyes are now on how the situation will be resolved.
