A tragic incident occurred in Bachupally, Hyderabad, on Thursday when a woman assistant manager working at a bank allegedly took her own life due to work-related stress. The deceased, identified as Kota Satyalavanya (32), reportedly jumped from the terrace of her apartment building after returning from work. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital by locals, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.

According to her husband, Bathula Veeramohan, and local sources, Satyalavanya hailed from Pithapuram in Andhra Pradesh. The couple had been residing at MN Residency in KRCR Colony, Bachupally. Satyalavanya was employed as an assistant manager at Bank of India, while Veeramohan worked in the IT sector.

Veeramohan stated that his wife had been complaining about the mounting work pressure at her job for some time. He added that they had made plans to travel to their hometown for the Sankranti festival on Friday. On Thursday afternoon, after seeking permission from the bank, Satyalavanya returned home and went directly to the terrace of their apartment building, where she jumped off.

Locals immediately rushed her to SLG Hospital, where doctors confirmed that her condition was critical. Despite medical intervention, she could not be saved. The doctors later informed that she had sustained severe injuries, leading to her death.
