On November 25, Akshay Kumar officially announced the release date of Vishnu Manu's Kannappa. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is set to hit the screens on April 25, 20245. The Khiladi actor is playing an important role in the film.

Taking to his Instagram story, the Singham Again actor dropped the poster. In the picture, the makers said the film will revolve around "The untold story of Lord Shiva’s greatest devotee." The tagline of the film reads, “The Bravest Warrior. The Ultimate Devotee,” the film’s tagline reads.
The most exciting part of the film is its star-studded list of cameos from some of the biggest names in Indian cinema. Based on the story of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Shiva, the highly-anticipated film will feature Prabhas as Nandi and Mohanlal in another important cameo. Kajal Aggarwal will appear as Goddess Parvati, while Akshay Kumar will make a special appearance as Lord Shiva.
