Pawan Kalyan to launch Swarna Panchayat website on March 7th

Krishna Collector and Panchayat Raj officials visit venue

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Konidala Pawan Kalyan, will launch the Swarna Panchayat website on Friday, the 7th of this month, at the Gannavaram Government Polytechnic College grounds.

On Tuesday morning, State Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Commissioner and Director, M. Krishna Teja, along with District Collector DK Balaji, SP R. Gangadhar Rao, Joint Collector Geetanjali Sharma, and other officials inspected the arrangements for the upcoming event.

Collector DK Balaji announced that more than five thousand people are expected to attend the inauguration ceremony. He emphasized the need for strong arrangements and coordination among various departments, especially those of Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Employment Guarantee, and RWS, as well as with police officers. During the event, a photo exhibition will showcase roads constructed and completed under the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme, as well as development welfare programs initiated by the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department.

Additionally, the exhibition will include displays on waste management, wealth creation from waste, e-waste, and initiatives like Swachh Charlapalli. Collector Balaji instructed that seating arrangements for dignitaries should follow the protocol guidelines.

The backdrop for the event should be prepared in consultation with the state office of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department. He also directed that strong barricades be set up, along with a green room for the temporary accommodation of the Deputy CM, public representatives, and senior officials.

Furthermore, he requested the clearing of any overgrown vegetation in the college premises and grounds, and emphasized the need for all necessary technical equipment to be ready for the website inauguration. District SP R. Gangadhar Rao confirmed that comprehensive arrangements are being made for the event. He noted that the Deputy CM's convoy would be properly secured with barricades and that police officers have been instructed to coordinate with officials from other departments for seamless organization.
