A successful trial run was conducted at Punnami Ghat in Vijayawada on Friday under the supervision of the city police commissioner Rajasekhara Babu and the district collector. According to CP Rajasekhara Babu, extensive preparations have been made to accommodate up to 1,000 spectators for the launch.
A strong security presence, including Greyhounds, NDRF teams, dog squads, and bomb squads, is in place at both Vijayawada and Srisailam to ensure the safety of the event. The seaplane will be monitored by high-speed rescue boats in the Srisailam Reservoir, with officials ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for a smooth and secure journey.
