KTR accuses Congress govt of extortion and land encroachment

BRS Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao has accused the Congress government of running an extortion racket called ‘Hydra’ and targeting poor people's homes under the guise of the Musi River development project.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he alleged that the chief minister’s family is involved in real estate under the name "Fourth City" and that the "Triple R" project is being used to encroach on lands belonging to the poor while striking deals with influential figures.

He further criticized the government for abandoning its six key guarantees, failing to implement schemes like Rythu Bharosa and farm loan waivers, and refusing to procure farmers’ produce. Comparing ten years of K. Chandrashekar Rao’s governance to the last 15 months of Congress rule, he claimed Telangana has deteriorated significantly. Calling the administration oppressive, he urged people to rise against the current regime.
