Jana Sena leader Kiran Royal faces controversy over exploiting woman

Tirupati Jana Sena Party leader Kiran Royal has been embroiled in a serious controversy after a woman accused him of fraud, threats, and exploitation. The woman, identified as Lakshmi from Bairagapattugu, Tirupati, attempted suicide, alleging that Kiran Royal deceived her out of more than one crore rupees.

In a recorded video statement, Lakshmi claimed to have had a close relationship with Kiran Royal and stated that she had lent him approximately Rs 1.20 crore on multiple occasions. She alleged that despite repeated requests, Kiran Royal has refused to return the money.

Reports suggest that the dispute between Lakshmi and Kiran Royal has been ongoing since 2022. She claimed that he had written cheques and bonds amounting to Rs 30 lakh but later threatened to harm her children when she demanded repayment.

She cited these threats as the reason for her suicide attempt, expressing her wish that her money be given to her children after her death. Lakshmi is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Vellore. In response to the allegations, Kiran Royal dismissed the claims as a political conspiracy orchestrated by YSR Congress Party (YCP) leaders.

He asserted that Lakshmi has a history of legal issues, stating that multiple cases have been filed against her. Kiran Royal further alleged that Bhumana Abhinay Reddy, a prominent YCP leader, is behind this controversy and vowed to bring the "real facts" to light.

He stated that he has evidence implicating Reddy and will soon reveal it. Kiran Royal is known to be a supporter of Pawan Kalyan and has been actively involved in the Jana Sena Party since its inception. He played a crucial role in organizing party activities in Tirupati.

During the last election, his name was initially considered for the Tirupati constituency; however, the seat was ultimately given to Arani Srinivasulu, a former YSRCP MLA who joined Jana Sena. Arani later won the election with a significant majority.
