Home minister V Anitha has ordered an investigation into allegations against former minister Vidadhala Rajani, following a complaint lodged by the management of Balaji Stone Crushers. The management, based in Yadlapadu, Palnadu district, accused Rajani and her personal assistant, Gopi, of extorting Rs 2.5 crore from them.

The representatives of Balaji Stone Crushers met with the Home Minister to present their grievance, detailing the alleged financial demand made by the former minister and her aide. Responding to the complaint, Home minister Anitha has ordered a formal enquiry to investigate the matter.
