Union Minister for Civil Aviation K Rammohan Naidu launched direct flight service from Rajamahendravaram to New Delhi on Thursday, He officially flagged off the flight at Rajamundry Airport. MP Daggubati Purandeswari, and Kakinada MP Thangella Uday Srinivas, who were also onboard the inaugural flight.

Recently, a direct flight to Mumbai from Rajahmundry was also introduced. Speaking on the occasion, MP Purandeswari called the day unforgettable for Rajahmundry and highlighted the significance of connecting the city to other major destinations in the country. She also announced that direct flights to Shirdi, Tirupati, and Ayodhya would be launched soon.

Rammohan Naidu emphasized that Rajahmundry is now well-connected to major cities across India.
