The Chief Justice's bench has issued a verdict regarding the disqualification petitions of MLAs. The bench has directed the Speaker to make a decision at an appropriate time and stated that the High Court will handle disqualification petitions in accordance with the 10th Schedule of the Constitution.
Additionally, a single bench will file complaints against MLAs who have switched parties and will direct the Assembly Secretary to present these complaints to the Speaker within four weeks. However, the Chief Justice's bench has quashed the orders from the single bench, stating that the Speaker is not bound by any time constraints.
