Rs. 4,500 Crore NREGS Plan to Complete 30,000 Projects Before Sankranti, Investigates Past Fund Irregularities

Through the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS),

Through the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), we aim to complete 30,000 projects over the course of 7 crore working days with a budget of Rs. 4,500 crore. Our goal is to finish these projects before Sankranti. We are currently investigating past diversions of employment scheme funds and irregularities with job cards. Additionally, we will examine the connection between agricultural activities and employment guarantees. 

Under this employment guarantee program, we can undertake tasks such as silt removal and clearing blockages in canals. We also plan to construct boundary walls for crematoriums as part of our employment works. Furthermore, we are looking into the payment of Rs. 331 crore in employment guarantee funds from previous years, as stated by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
