Chandrababu Naidu praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah

In a ceremony marking the establishment of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in Kondapavuluru, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his innovative governance and leadership in maintaining law and order across the country. The event was attended by Amit Shah, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Minister Nara Lokesh, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, and other dignitaries.

Speaking at the gathering, Chandrababu Naidu stated that Amit Shah’s strategic thinking had contributed significantly to the nation’s peace and security. He also mentioned Shah’s suggestions for innovative approaches to rebuilding Andhra Pradesh. Highlighting the success of the ruling coalition, Chandrababu Naidu noted a 93% strike rate in the state during the previous elections, attributing the state’s recovery from a debt of ₹10 lakh crore to the Central Government’s support.

The Chief Minister acknowledged the Central Government's financial assistance, which helped Andhra Pradesh move from a "ventilator state" to relative stability, though he emphasized that further efforts were needed for the state’s complete recovery.

Chandrababu Naidu outlined progress in various development projects, stating that ₹15,000 crore had been allocated for the construction of Amaravati, with ongoing work at the site. He expressed confidence that, with Central Government support, the Polavaram project’s diaphragm wall would be completed by April 2027.

The Chief Minister also lauded the Central Government’s ₹11,440 crore financial package to revive the ailing Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, describing it as a life-saving measure. Additionally, he acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone and urged further Central assistance to drive Andhra Pradesh’s growth.

Chandrababu Naidu reiterated the need for support in implementing the Godavari-Banaka Challa project and emphasized the collective efforts to realize Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a developed India. He expressed optimism about India’s global leadership by 2047, stating that Andhra Pradesh is aligning its Vision-2047 goals with this national aspiration.
