10 more YSRCP councillors join TDP in Tuni

The political landscape in Tuni Municipality, Kakinada district, has seen a significant shift as 10 YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) councilors have joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

This follows the defection of three other YSRCP councilors to the TDP earlier, bringing the total number of councilors leaving the party to 13. TDP Polit Bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu formally welcomed the newly joined councilors, draping them with party scarves in a symbolic gesture of allegiance.

The move has sparked intense political discussion, particularly with the Tuni Municipal vice chairman elections on the horizon.
