Nithiin’s highly anticipated film Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, had its trailer launch today to an overwhelmingly positive response. The team also hosted a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad, with a special appearance by cricket legend David Warner, who has a cameo in the film.

Venky Kudumula shared his deep bond with Nithiin, calling him a brother beyond family. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate again after Bheeshma, emphasizing the immense support from the producers.
“We initially considered Rashmika for the role, but due to scheduling conflicts, Sreeleela stepped in. Despite her packed schedule, she was perfect for the character, bringing incredible energy to the film. Ketika Sharma also played a crucial role in building excitement around the movie,” he shared.
Regarding David Warner’s cameo, Kudumula revealed, “I pitched the idea, and the producers worked tirelessly to bring him on board. He loved the concept and immediately agreed. Though his role is brief, it will be a major surprise.”

Nithiin praised GV Prakash’s music for elevating the film, stating, “This is my second movie with Sreeleela, and I’m confident we’ll become a hit pair. She has brought so much life to her comic role and will truly entertain the audience. Ketika’s presence in the Surprise song took it to another level.”
He also expressed gratitude to Mythri Movie Makers for their continued success and to David Warner, calling him a “legend” whose cameo will leave a lasting impact. “For the world, he’s a cricket star, but for us, he’s always ‘Warner Mama’ and ‘David Bhai,’” he added.
David Warner’s Telugu Debut and Heartfelt Speech
Warner started his speech with a warm “Namaskaram” in Telugu, expressing his excitement about stepping into cinema.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I was nervous stepping into this world, but Venky made me feel comfortable. The dedication and passion of this team are truly inspiring. Robinhood looks fantastic, and I have no doubt it will be a massive success,” he said.
To cap off the event, Warner, Nithiin, Sreeleela, and Ketika Sharma danced to the viral Adhi Dha Surprisu song, electrifying the crowd.
With the trailer already making waves, Robinhood is gearing up for an exciting release.
