NTR Graces "Mad Square" Success Meet, Hails Cast and Crew
Hyderabad witnessed a jubilant "Mad Square" success meet on Friday night, graced by the presence of NTR as the chief guest.
NTR opened his speech by extending heartfelt congratulations to the film's director, Kalyan Shankar. "Comedy is a challenging genre, which is why I'm hesitant about 'Adhurs 2.' To evoke laughter is a true gift, and Kalyan has achieved this twice with 'Mad' and 'Mad Square.' This success stems from his genuine spirit," stated the "Devara" actor.
He then praised Sangeeth Shobhan, one of the film's lead actors, saying, "Sangeeth's late father, Sobhan, would be immensely proud of him and his brother, Santhosh." Turning his attention to Ram Nitin, another lead, NTR remarked, "Seeing Ram Nitin in 'Mad' reminded me of my younger self. He has truly excelled in 'Mad Square.'"
NTR shared an amusing anecdote about his brother-in-law, Narne Nithin, who also plays a pivotal role in "Mad Square." "Nithin was quite young when I got married and was always shy, avoiding conversations with me. His first confident declaration to me was his desire to become an actor. I jokingly told him he wouldn't have my support," he quipped.
Teasing his upcoming project with Nelson and Anirudh, NTR also revealed his impending collaboration with producer Naga Vamsi. "I will soon be working with Naga Vamsi and entrust him with the responsibility of looking after my fans," he disclosed.
He further commended the film's supporting cast, including comedians Sunil, Satyam Rajesh, Vishnu Oi, Muralidhar, and the entire crew, for their contributions to the film's remarkable success. To the delight of his fans, NTR confirmed that "Devara 2" is definitely in the works, following his project with director Prasanth Neel.
As is his custom, NTR concluded his speech with resounding chants of "Jai NTR" and "Jai Hari Krishna."
