State Education, IT, and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh addressed the Legislative Assembly in Amaravati.

State Education, IT, and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh addressed the Legislative Assembly in Amaravati. He shared that, in alignment with the hopes and aspirations of the people of Rayalaseema, he announced Mission Rayalaseema during the Yuvagalam Padayatra. Minister Lokesh expressed his satisfaction that the government has decided to establish a High Court bench in Kurnool.

While speaking on the resolution introduced in the Legislative Assembly by Law Minister NMD Farooq regarding the establishment of a High Court bench in Kurnool, Minister Lokesh urged the government to take necessary steps to complete this long-standing desire of the people of Rayalaseema within a year.

Minister Lokesh highlighted that Rayalaseema was developed during previous TDP governments, during which significant irrigation projects, universities, and investments were made. He noted that substantial funds were allocated to various irrigation projects, from the Telugu Ganga to other initiatives, overseen by NTR during his time and continued under Chandrababu Naidu.

Between 2014 and 2019, Chandrababu Naidu attracted large investments to the Rayalaseema region, including Kia Motors and its affiliated companies in Anantapur, creating numerous job opportunities. The last TDP government also facilitated the establishment of several electronics manufacturing industries in Chittoor and Kadapa, along with prestigious educational institutions such as IIT, Eicher, and Triple IT.

Furthermore, Minister Lokesh emphasized that Chandrababu Naidu promoted horticulture in Rayalaseema in a mission-mode approach, advocating for crops like mango, banana, papaya, and dragon fruit. He stated that integrating horticulture with existing irrigation resources would significantly enhance the per capita income in the region.

Minister Lokesh reiterated that several promises were made under Mission Rayalaseema and assured that the public government would work diligently to fulfill them.
