AP High Court Denies Anticipatory Bail to 17 Accused in TDP Office Attack Case

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has rejected the anticipatory bail petitions filed by the accused in connection with the attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Gannavaram.

A total of 17 accused individuals had approached the court seeking anticipatory bail. However, after a detailed hearing, the court declined to grant bail.

The incident, which led to the registration of a case, has seen 89 individuals listed as accused. Among them, former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been named as Accused No. 71 (A71).

According to reports, followers of Vallabhaneni Vamsi were involved in the vandalism of office property, and a vehicle parked within the premises was set on fire during the attack.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case, with the involvement of a large number of accused drawing significant public and political attention.
