In a shocking incident at Krishna Vilas Colony, Nuzvid, a young man attacked his girlfriend's father with a knife after claiming his love was being rejected. The accused, identified as Jutru Bobby, also reportedly assaulted the young woman with pepper spray before fleeing the scene. The accused, Bobby, had allegedly been harassing the young woman for some time, professing his love for her. Frustrated by her family's opposition, he targeted her father, Sambasiva Rao, who had filed a police complaint against him.

According to sources, Bobby confronted Sambasiva Rao as he was leaving his house and launched an indiscriminate knife attack, leaving him severely injured. He also sprayed pepper into the young woman's eyes and attempted to harm her. Sambasiva Rao was rushed to the Nuzvid Government Hospital by his family for emergency treatment.

The extent of his injuries is being assessed. Police, upon receiving information, registered a case and have initiated an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend Bobby.
