Tollywood young hero Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Chandu Mondeti are collaborating on the latest movie ‘Tandel’, which is based on a real incident in Srikakulam. The film features Sai Pallavi as the female lead opposite Chaitu, and is being produced by Bunny Vas under the GA2 Pictures banner, submitted by Allu Aravind. ‘Tandel’ marks Naga Chaitanya’s 23rd film and is progressing rapidly.
The previously released glimpses video and teaser have raised expectations for the movie. The producers have stated that they are investing the biggest budget of Chaitu’s career into this project. Currently, the production team is shooting a song on an elaborate set for the movie. According to internal sources, a whopping three crore rupees are being spent on just this one song.
Given the Srikakulam setting, the makers have enlisted 65 renowned artists from Srikakulam to portray various characters typically seen at local fairs. Additionally, around nine hundred dancers and junior artists are also involved in this song sequence. This marks the first time in Naga Chaitanya’s career that such a significant sum has been allocated to a single song.
