State teams depart for National School Games Wrestling Competitions

The Andhra Pradesh state teams competing in the Under-14 Boys and Girls National Wrestling Competitions are set to take place in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, from the 16th to the 20th of this month. The teams left on Thursday, as announced by M. Srinivasa Rao, the Secretary of NTR District School Games. He mentioned that the government has provided sports kits, transportation, and other necessary equipment for the athletes.

The coachingstaff includes B. Uday Kumar and G. Bhargav Sai Ganesh, while P. Sudha and B. Kanthayya have been appointed as team managers. B. Chandrasekhar and T. Srilatha presented the kits to the athletes on behalf of the State School Games.

The girls' team features T. Pranitha from Chittoor, B. Jyotirmayi, T. Chittemma, T. Snehalatha, and P. Deepika from Krishna district, A. Pujitha, K. Sreeja, and K. Geethika from Nellore, V. Surya Kala from East Godavari, and P. Lakshmi Deepika from Prakash. The boys' team includes D. Santosh, D. Amar Kumar, and M. Pabitra Behra from Krishna district, S. Pawan and G. Deepak from Kadapa, P. Naga Chaitanya from Guntur, V. Vishnu Vardhan from Prakash, D. Santosh from Nellore, M. Manikantha from Vijayanagaram, and T. Charan from West Godavari.
