The Andhra Pradesh police have issued notices to filmmaker Ramgopal Varma, requiring his appearance at Ongole Rural Police Station on November 19. The Maddipadu Police recently registered a case against Varma, accusing him of making posts that allegedly defame prominent political figures, including Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh.
The case was filed at Maddipadu Police Station, with the allegations suggesting that Varma's social media activity was intended to harm the reputation and personality of these leaders. Authorities have directed Varma to present himself for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation into the controversial posts.
