Nara Lokesh Personally Oversees Arrangements for PM Modi’s Visit in Visakhapatnam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Andhra Pradesh on January 8, marking his first visit to the state after the coalition government was formed. In preparation for the visit, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, Electronics, and RTGS, Nara Lokesh, visited Visakhapatnam today to personally supervise the arrangements. He was accompanied by Ministers Atchannaidu, Dola Bala Veeranjaneyaswamy, Kondapalli Srinivas, and senior party leader Kala Venkatrao.

At the Visakhapatnam Collectorate, Nara Lokesh, along with a team of ministers, held a review meeting with senior officials and coalition representatives. During the meeting, he directed officials to ensure that tight security arrangements are in place to prevent any untoward incidents during the Prime Minister's visit. The review session was attended by key representatives and officials from the northern districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Call for a Coordinated Effort

Nara Lokesh urged all stakeholders to work together in "mission mode" to make the Prime Minister’s visit a grand success. He described the visit as historic, emphasizing its significance as the Prime Minister’s first visit to the state after the NDA government came to power. He called for a unified effort with a single agenda to make the event memorable, assigning responsibilities to various officials and party leaders.

"This is not just a visit for North Andhra; it is critical for the future of the entire Andhra Pradesh state. We must ensure smooth coordination at every level, from booth-level monitoring to large-scale public participation. We should aim to surpass previous roadshows and public rallies, such as those held in Vijayawada and Chilakaluripet," Lokesh said.

Review of Security and Roadshow Arrangements

During the discussions, the ministerial team instructed senior police officials to arrange single barricades for the roadshow, ensuring public convenience without imposing unnecessary restrictions. Lokesh stressed the importance of making the roadshow and public rally accessible to all without creating any inconveniences.

Additionally, the roadshow route was divided into sections, with responsibilities assigned to public representatives and officials for seamless coordination. The ministers emphasized the need for proper crowd management, parking facilities, and food arrangements for attendees.

Massive Public Turnout Expected

According to the ministers, approximately 300,000 people are expected to attend the public rally at AU Engineering College grounds, including participants from North Andhra districts and East Godavari. To accommodate the large crowd, adequate facilities for food, parking, and transportation were discussed during the meeting.
Inspection of Rally Grounds

Nara Lokesh and the ministerial team visited the AU Engineering College grounds, where Prime Minister Modi’s public rally is scheduled to take place on January 8. They inspected the entire venue and issued specific instructions to officials regarding arrangements. Lokesh highlighted the importance of providing proper amenities and ensuring smooth execution of the event.

During the inspection, Lokesh recalled past events where the Prime Minister praised the successful conduct of roadshows and public rallies in Vijayawada and Chilakaluripet, setting a high benchmark for the upcoming event.

Focus on Public Convenience

The ministers also advised officials to make special arrangements for two-wheeler parking and manage the distribution of entry passes efficiently. Lokesh emphasized the need for smooth crowd flow and well-coordinated logistics during the event.

In conclusion, the ministerial team, under the leadership of Nara Lokesh, directed officials and party representatives to ensure that the roadshow and rally are conducted without any hindrances. They reiterated that the Prime Minister’s visit is crucial for the future development of Andhra Pradesh and sought active participation from all stakeholders to make it a resounding success.
