Former judge Ramakrishna made intriguing remarks, describing Nara Lokesh as "our leader" during an interview with a YouTube channel. Sharing his difficult experiences, he revealed the hardships he endured during his time in jail and the support he received from Nara Lokesh. Ramakrishna recounted that while he spent four months in sub-jail, no one paid attention to his plight. He further alleged that his life was endangered due to former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy’s actions.
Recalling past events, Ramakrishna said that Chandrababu Naidu had spoken to the media about the alleged conspiracy to kill him in jail and had arranged a legal team to help secure his bail. However, he emphasized that it was Nara Lokesh who went above and beyond by helping him multiple times, despite repeated requests. “Lokesh told me, ‘You are conducting public meetings, and each one costs 4 to 5 lakh rupees. I will cover all these expenses. Please take an additional one lakh rupees,’” Ramakrishna stated. He added that Lokesh even instructed his personal assistant to provide whatever assistance was needed, without any hesitation, whenever he asked. Ramakrishna credited Lokesh for supporting him continuously for four years.
"I once lived a life of protocol as a judge, but later, when I faced troubles after my children grew up, there was no one to speak for me. It was during that time that Lokesh supported me," he said. Ramakrishna expressed his gratitude and said, "How can we forget the good he has done for us? That is why I am ready to hold Lokesh’s feet if necessary. It is not about losing self-respect but about acknowledging the truth."
The former judge reflected on his life, saying, “Only someone who lives an honest life can understand the pain they endure. Dishonest people can never comprehend that suffering. My life itself is an example of how difficult it is for an honest person to survive in society."
Ramakrishna declared that he has always maintained his integrity and character, regardless of the challenges he faced. "I stood firm on my word for 12 years with the same character. Even when my life was at risk, I didn’t compromise on my honesty. Otherwise, I would have climbed the judicial ranks from district judge to High Court judge and lived a life of royalty. But I did not want my children to suffer, and I didn’t choose that path," he concluded.
