Bollywood Actress's Sister Arrested in the US

Alia Fakhri, the sister of renowned Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, has been arrested by the New York Police in connection with a double homicide case. Alia is accused of allegedly setting a fire that resulted in the deaths of her ex-boyfriend and his female friend.

Alia Fakhri, a resident of New York, was reportedly in a relationship with Edward Jacob for some time. However, after their breakup a year ago due to disputes, Edward started dating Anastasia Etienne. Allegedly unable to accept this new relationship, Alia is said to have issued multiple threats to her ex-boyfriend.

When her threats were ignored, Alia reportedly visited the residence of Edward and Anastasia on November 2 and set the building on fire. Despite neighbors alerting them, both victims were trapped in the flames and died.

Based on eyewitness testimonies, the New York Police registered a case and recently arrested Alia Fakhri. She has been remanded into custody. So far, actress Nargis Fakhri has not issued any statement regarding her sister's arrest.
