Chandrababu owns an ambassador car, Amit Shah doesn’t have a car of his own

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be better than India’s Home Minister Amit Shah as Chandrababu at least owns an ambassador car which he purchased in 1994 while Amith Shah does not have his own car. Chandrababu Naidu and Amith Shah have revealed these “facts” in their election affidavits. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has declared movable and immovable assets worth Rs 36 crore and does not have his own car, in the affidavit he filed along with his nomination papers in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar on Friday.

According to his affidavit, the senior BJP leader still doesn’t own a car. Shah has declared movable assets worth Rs 20 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 16 crore. He has declared jewellery worth Rs 72 lakh while his wife has jewellery worth Rs 1.10 crore.

Amit Shah’s wife Sonal Shah has assets worth over Rs 31 crore, including movable assets worth Rs 22.46 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 9 crore.

Amit Shah’s annual income was Rs 75.09 lakh in 2022-23, while his wife’s annual income was Rs 39.54 lakh. The Home Minister has a loan of Rs 15.77 lakh in his name, while his wife has a loan of Rs 26.32 lakh, according to the affidavit.

His source of income includes his MP salary, house and land rents, farming income and income from shares and dividends.

In the profession section of the affidavit, Amit Shah said he was a farmer and a social worker. He declared that there were three criminal cases registered against him.

According to affidavit of Chandrababu Naidu, he has movable assets of just Rs 4.80 lakh including the ambassador car valued at Rs 2.22 lakh. The movable assets of Naidu valued at Rs 36.31 crore. Bhuvaneswari owns movable assests of Rs 85.10 crore. The affidavit also shows that his income during 2022-23 was nill while his wife’s income for the same year was Rs 11.34 crore.   Naidu also facing 24 criminal cases . Naidu is contesting from Kuppam Assembly segment.
