Amaravati: It is quite interesting. There is a similarity except slight change between film hero Mahesh Babu, his super hit movies Maharshi and Srimanthudu reel stories, and doctor-professor-businessman-turned politician Pemmasani Chandrasekhar’s real story. The comparison is very opt in the present situation when Pemmasani returned from the United States of America after achieving success amassing wealth. It may be noted that the intelligent student Mahesh Babu went to America after his studies. Later he amassed wealth in the Maharshi movie. He came back to India with a good cause to fulfil his friend’s aim to change the fate of the land. The Telugu audience enjoyed the film’s story and it bagged awards too.

Similarly, Chandrasekhar has come back to India to serve the motherland with a good motive recalling his childhood friends and unfilled dreams of his relatives.  It is a common point in film hero Mahesh Babu’s film story and real hero Pemmasani Chandrasekhar’s life story. Similarly, Mahesh Babu’s character in Srimanthudu movie is also the hero who came to his motherland to pay back to his native area.

Both Mahesh Babu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar belong to Burripalem village which is the outskirts of Tenali town in Guntur district.

Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar has introduced several service programmes in his native district Guntur and along with America. Now he is contesting from Guntur Lok Sabha on Telugu Desam party to pay back to society.

Dr Chandrasekhar is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of U World. He is a graduate of Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad ranked 27th out of 60,000 students in EAMCET entrance. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, and obtained the highest percentile scores in most board examinations.

During his postgraduate training, he represented the state of Pennsylvania in a national medical knowledge competition for 2 years. He then worked at Johns Hopkins University – Sinai Hospital for about 5 years as an attending physician, teaching residents and medical students.

Dr. Pemmasani worked in a free medical clinic for the Indian community in Dallas. In India, he helped provide free and clean water to residents of the Palnadu area for over 10 years. He donated land for a community in his village. He has provided educational funding to several children, and adults and has extended charitable donations to local community organisations.

He explained his inner views to The Capital. In his words. “Chandrasekhar’s uncle’s son and several relatives’ deaths made him stronger to set the bigger aims in his life. He thought that he should do something bigger in his life when he was studying in college. He also dreamt that he should do something on a large scale when he was going to America.

Moreover, he feels responsible as he got 27th rank in the medical entrance exam and completed his studies with the help of taxpayers’ money. The State is in the worst position without employment and the capital city. He studied college education in AP’s capital Amaravati capital location also. All the anti-people policies forced him to come back to his native village like the hero character in Srimanthudu movie. Now he is one of the top richest persons in the whole contesting candidates not only in Andhra but also in India.

My Journey—In his words

What started as a passion project in my college dorm room has blossomed into a thriving company that students and professionals turn to when they require the best learning tools to prepare them for their pivotal exams? In 2001, while doing my medical residency, I began writing case-based learning questions for the US Medical Licensing Exam because the study resources I found at the time were poor quality and too much expensive.
