Actor Posani Krishna Murali Sent to 14-Day Judicial Remand in Kurnool

Prominent actor and writer Posani Krishna Murali has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody by a Kurnool court. The case, registered at the Adoni Third Town Police Station in Kurnool district, pertains to alleged inappropriate remarks made by Posani against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, and their family members.

Following this, Adoni police sought custody of Posani, who was already in judicial remand in Guntur district for a similar case. After obtaining approval, the police took him into custody, conducted a medical examination, and transported him to Kurnool, where he was presented before the magistrate.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court ordered Posani's remand until the 18th of this month. He was subsequently transferred to Kurnool district jail.

Separately, in another case filed in Narasaraopet, a court had earlier sent Posani to judicial remand until the 13th of this month. Across Andhra Pradesh, a total of 17 cases have been registered against him.
