Telangana High Court: Relief for KCR and Harish Rao.
Former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), along with former Minister Harish Rao, has received relief from the Telangana High Court
The Bhupalapally District Court has issued notices to KCR and Harish Rao regarding the collapse of the Medigadda Barrage. In response, KCR and Harish Rao filed a petition in the High Court challenging the orders from the Bhupalapally Court.
The High Court heard their petition today (Tuesday) and granted them relief. The Telangana High Court suspended the notices given by the Bhupalapally District Court related to the Medigadda Barrage collapse. Additionally, the court issued notices to the complainant.
The next hearing has been scheduled for January 7th. It is important to note that a person named Rajalingam had filed the petition in the Bhupalapally Court concerning the collapse of the Medigadda Barrage, which is part of the Kaleshwaram project.
The Bhupalapally Court, after hearing the petition, issued notices on July 10 to KCR, the then Irrigation Minister Harish Rao, and various officials from the Irrigation Department who worked during the BRS regime. The court ordered KCR and Harish Rao to appear on September 5.
