‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’ Achieves Rare Milestone

Released as a festive offering on January 14, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has been creating a box office storm. The film has already grossed over ₹160 crores within its first week and continues to maintain a steady flow of collections. Packed theaters and houseful boards have been the norm, with the movie setting new benchmarks for revenue.

On its fifth day, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam earned ₹12.75 crores, securing the second position on the list of highest fifth-day collections for Telugu films in the Andhra, Ceeded, and Nizam regions. According to trade analysts, RRR holds the top spot with ₹13.63 crores, followed by Sankranthiki Vasthunnam at ₹12.75 crores, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo at ₹11.43 crores, Baahubali 2 at ₹11.35 crores, and Kalki 2898 AD at ₹10.86 crores.

The film is also performing exceptionally well overseas. In the US, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has become the highest-grossing film in Venkatesh’s career, surpassing the $2 million mark, as officially announced by the film’s team.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by prominent filmmakers Dil Raju and Sirish, the movie features Venkatesh in the lead role, alongside Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. The music, composed by Bheems, has been a major highlight, with nearly all songs from the album becoming chartbusters.
