Hyderabad: Stating that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is facing pressure in her father’s murder case, N Sunitha Reddy, daughter of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy, emphasised that she has been fighting alone for justice, seeking stern punishment for those involved.
Sunitha Reddy stated that despite the CBI’s investigation into her father’s murder in Kadapa in 2019, she believes more needs to be done to ensure justice for her family. She highlighted that she has been waiting for five years, seeking stern punishment for those involved in the case. “We are fighting alone seeking justice,” she remarked, expressing gratitude to all supporters.
During the interaction with the media, Sunitha Reddy presented details about the case through a power-point presentation. She shared information about the incident, including call data records (CDR), Google takeout, and Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR) details. Despite presenting substantial evidence, she lamented that justice has been denied.
Sunitha Reddy recalled that the CBI named four individuals – Erra Gangi Reddy (A1), Sunil Yadav (A2), Umashankar Reddy (A3), and Dastagiri (A4) – as accused in the first charge sheet. She also mentioned YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy’s alleged connections with Gangi Reddy and Uma Shankar, noting Avinash Reddy’s denial of involvement in the case.
