A key meeting regarding the development of the Vijayawada Kanaka Durgamma Temple's master plan was held at the Trust Board office under the leadership of Minister for Endowment Anam Ramanarayana Reddy. The meeting saw active participation from Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath, who made valuable suggestions for enhancing the temple's facilities.
The primary objective outlined during the meeting is to develop the temple in a way that addresses the needs of the next hundred years. MP Kesineni Sivanath proposed the construction of waiting halls to ensure that devotees do not face undue hardships while waiting in long queues, making their visit more comfortable.
Additionally, MP Sivanath emphasized the importance of securing funding for the temple’s development through the central government's 'Prasadam' scheme, urging the Trust Board to explore avenues for financial support. The proposed changes aim to improve the temple's infrastructure while ensuring it meets the increasing needs of the growing number of devotees.
