Palnadu: A tragic road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Palnadu district claimed the lives of four people and left four others critically injured on Saturday.
The incident occurred on the Addanki-Narkatpalli highway as the vehicle, carrying passengers returning from the Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy Temple in Telangana, lost control.
The passengers had gone to the temple to offer prayers for their new car before the unfortunate crash took place while they were en route to their native village, Siripuram.
The injured have been rushed to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition. Preliminary investigations suggest speeding as the likely cause of the accident, according to Piduguralla Rural Station sub-inspector Mohan. Police are continuing to probe the incident.
