CPI Ramakrishna Justifies Posani Krishna Murali’s Arrest

CPI Andhra Pradesh State Secretary Ramakrishna stated that there was nothing wrong in the arrest of prominent actor Posani Krishna Murali, emphasizing that Posani had made remarks insulting Pawan Kalyan’s wife and children. He asserted that no one should support individuals who demean women. Ramakrishna advised that personal attacks should be avoided in politics and described some of Posani’s past statements as disgraceful to society.

He pointed out that Posani is not just an actor but also a writer and a postgraduate, making it inappropriate for someone of his stature to speak in such a derogatory manner. He stressed that offensive remarks are unacceptable, regardless of political affiliation.

While acknowledging that political criticism is natural, Ramakrishna maintained that attacking Pawan Kalyan personally—especially targeting his family—was completely inappropriate. He condemned Posani’s degrading remarks and cautioned against supporting such individuals, reiterating that personal attacks, particularly against women, are highly objectionable.
