CM Chandrababu Naidu Sanctions ₹1 Lakh Aid to Differently-Abled Man After Mother's Plea

During his recent visit to Tanuku in West Godavari district, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to provide financial assistance to a differently-abled individual following an appeal from Nandivada Esamma of Duvva village.

Esamma approached the Chief Minister, explaining her family's dire financial situation and her struggles in caring for her differently-abled son. Moved by her plea, Naidu immediately instructed officials to sanction financial aid of ₹1 lakh. Despite the absence of a formal application, authorities identified Esamma using a photograph of her interaction with the Chief Minister.

On Thursday, at the Collectorate in Bhimavaram, Collector Nagarani and Joint Collector Rahul Kumar Reddy handed over a cheque of ₹1 lakh to Esamma and her son.

Expressing her gratitude, Esamma thanked the Chief Minister for his timely support. Collector Nagarani further assured her that, in addition to financial aid, efforts would be made to grant her a pension, allocate land, and construct a house for her.

Having lost her husband 14 years ago, Esamma has been struggling to provide for her son, who faces ongoing health challenges. The Chief Minister's assistance has offered her much-needed relief.
