CM Chandrababu inaugurated village councils in Vanapalli, Kothapeta mandal of Konaseema district, while Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan inaugurated them in Mysuravaripalle, Railway Koduru mandal of Annamaiya district. The coalition government has utilized the gram sabhas as a platform to criticize Jagan’s regime. CM Chandrababu promised the construction of 17,500 kilometers of cement roads, 10,000 kilometers of cement drainages, and 2,500 kilometers of BT roads in the villages over the next five years.
Furthermore, financial assistance for cattle sheds, wealth creation from garbage, allocation of three cents of land for the poor in villages, and two cents of land for the urban poor have been pledged once again. CM Chandrababu urged the people to take note of the conditions in the past when the CM was visiting. It’s estimated that 70 percent of Sarpanches belong to YCP, while Sarpanches of TDP, Janasena, and BJP make up the remaining 30 percent.
However, Pawan Kalyan emphasized that politics has been set aside with the goal of village development. Furthermore, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan made a striking statement, stating that he will implement the Goonda Act if necessary, and he warned that there will be no peace if government lands are encroached upon. The government plans to conduct 20 such gram sabhas in the next five years.
