Amaravati: May 1 Nara Brahmani, wife of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, said that women can only do it successfully if it is making Avakaya or run an IT company.
She visited Pi-Care Data Center at Mangalagiri Autonagar on Wednesday. The company started the Data Center in 2017 following the invitation of Nara Lokesh when he was Minister of IT Department. Now 635 employees are working in the company. On this occasion, she interacted with them for some time as part of the election campaign for her husband Nara Lokesh.
Expressing satisfaction, she said that it was the first time seeing the majority of employees were women. She said that women could prove their talent in any field if they were given an opportunity. She said that her husband Nara Lokesh and family members Bhuvaneswari and Chandrababu encouraged her for involvement in the Heritage Foods business and other service organisations of NTR Trust. She said that several companies left the state with the policies and rules of the YSR Congress. She hoped that the Pi-Care Data Centre would provide 10,000 jobs in near future.
Pi-Care company chairman Srimannarayana said that this is the first company to start its establishment in Andhra after the state bifurcation. The state government did not give any cooperation during the last five years, he said. Several TDP leaders were also present.
