Kadapa: April 25: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a scathing attack aimed at his sisters, Sharmila and Sunita, accusing them of conspiring against him and aligning with political rivals to dismantle the YSR Congress Party’s stronghold in Andhra Pradesh. He vehemently denied any belief in YS Avinash Reddy’s involvement in the tragic murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy.

During a public meeting at the CSI grounds in Pulivendula on Thursday before filing his nomination, CM Jagan raised pointed questions about his sisters’ allegiance, questioning whether they could claim to be true heirs of YSR when they joined forces with political figures such as TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan, and the BJP—parties that historically conspired against and filed cases targeting YSR.

He accused his sisters of aligning with those who were involved in the unfortunate demise of their uncle Viveka, labeling their actions as mudslinging against the family legacy.

CM Jagan further questioned the motives behind targeting YSR’s family and filing cases through conspiracies, highlighting the attempts to tarnish YSRCP’s reputation and ideals by collaborating with rival parties.

He criticized the Congress for attempting to besmirch YSR’s name, warning against voting for the party, which he likened to voting for Chandrababu Naidu or benefiting the BJP.

Defending Avinash Reddy and his integrity, CM Jagan emphasised his belief in Avinash’s innocence and condemned efforts to tarnish his reputation. He addressed rumors surrounding Viveka’s personal life, affirming his trust in Avinash’s character and intentions.
