Amidst Threat, CM Babu Gets Additional Security
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu is one of the most secure politicians in India.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu is one of the most secure politicians in India. He has the highest amount of security for any CM in the country and this is in view of the bygone Alipiri incident in 2004 and subsequent elevated threat from naxals.
The latest news is that CM Chandrababu has now been allocated additional security by the Special Security Group that monitors his security protocols.
Along with the customary NSG commandos who famously stay in close vicinity to the CM at all times, we have additional troops in action now.
A counter action team, comprising of some of the most elite security units in the country have reportedly been deployed for Babu. This is in addition to the existing NSG and SSG commandos who are already at his disposal.
Starting from the recent Vizag trip, Babu has four layers of security surrounding him. One is NSG and the other is SSG, while the third is local police forces. Additionally, six specially trained counter action units will be in close proximity to the CM.
Apparently, Babu has an elevated threat from naxals and that is the reason why he has been allocated this additional security.
