In a significant development, Maturi Ranganath, Managing Director of Amma Constructions - Gudivada has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Builders Association of India (BAI) Amaravati Capital canter. The announcement was made by A. Nagamalleswara Rao, State President of BAI. The swearing-in ceremony for the new executive committee was held in Vijayawada, where other elected members included S. Satyanarayana as General Secretary, K.P. Kiran as Treasurer, Patnaik and Rajesh as Vice-Chairmen, and V. Venkata Narayana as Joint Secretary.
Ranganath emphasized the government's positive approach towards addressing real estate sector issues and highlighted the need for faster approval processes under the single-window system. He also assured that the association would work with organizations like NAREDCO and CREDAI to resolve persistent problems in the real estate sector. The event also saw Lanka Dinakar, Chairman of the Twenty-Point Implementation Committee, unveil the BAI New Year diary. Dinakar stated that the government is committed to the state's holistic development and highlighted the progress of Amaravati's construction under the guidance of the Chief Minister.
Prominent attendees included Potluri Bhaskar Rao, President of the Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation, and Dr. S. Ramesh, Director of the School of Planning and Architecture. Others in attendance included D. Pankaj Reddy, National Vice-President of the Association; G. Chakradhar, State President of NAREDCO; BAI former National Vice-President Vallabhaneni Venkateswara Rao; Vijayawada CREDAI President D. Rambabu; and Others Ramesh, Sandipani, Balaji, and Prabhu Sandipani.
