Vijayawada: April 22: The much-awaited results for the AP SSC (Class 10) Examinations 2024 were announced by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP), revealing an overall pass percentage of 86.69 per cent. In a noteworthy trend, girls have once again outperformed boys, marking a significant achievement in the state’s educational domain.

Commissioner of School Education, S Suresh Kumar, formally unveiled the scorecards on the official portal results.bse.ap.gov.in, ensuring easy access for students and stakeholders.

Out of 6,16,615 examinees, an impressive 5,34,574 students have successfully cleared the examinations. This year’s results highlight the commendable performance of female students, boasting a remarkable pass percentage of 89.17. In contrast, male students achieved a pass percentage of 84.32 percent, underscoring the consistent trend of girls excelling academically. 

The announcement also disclosed that 2803 schools attained a perfect 100 per cent pass percentage, reflecting the effectiveness of educational institutions in nurturing student potential. Conversely, 17 schools registered zero pass percentage, indicating areas that require focused attention and remedial measures.

Parvathipuram Manyam emerged as the top-performing district with an outstanding pass percentage of 96.37 per cent. Conversely, Kurnool district exhibited a lower pass percentage of 62.4 per cent, signaling the need for targeted interventions to enhance academic outcomes in the region.

Looking forward, supplementary examinations are scheduled from May 24 to June 3, providing students with an opportunity to improve their results and advance academically.
