It appears that astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, currently stranded in space, are facing potential danger. According to former US military space system commander Rudy Ridolf, there is a risk of them burning up in flames. Boeing has stated that in order for the Starliner spacecraft to safely return to Earth, the service module must be properly attached. Rudy has warned that if the module is at the wrong angle, it could lead to friction and a fire.
This could cause the astronauts to faint. The safety of Sunita Williams and Butch is being questioned, especially as their return is already expected to take a long time. Now, there are additional concerns arising. Sunita Williams, of Indian origin, and veteran astronaut Butch Wilmore had a successful lift-off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 5, reaching the International Space Station as planned on June 6.
However, their return to Earth has been delayed due to technical issues. This could lead to potential problems for Sunita Williams, such as weight loss and a decrease in muscle and bone density after spending an extended period of time in space. Weightlessness in space results in muscles and bones not bearing the usual weight, leading to weakening of muscle fibers over time. Bones can also weaken and become more susceptible to fractures. Prolonged exposure to space conditions can put pressure on the eyes, causing blurred vision and double vision, as per scientists.
