A day after blasting pagers and wreaking havoc in Lebanon, explosions of walkie-talkies caused chaos. Walkie-talkies were hacked and blown up in many areas including Beirut on Wednesday. Apart from these, solar devices were also used for explosions. The death toll in these incidents reached 32.. Hundreds of people were injured. Others are in serious condition. It seems that the death toll is likely to rise. According to local media reports, hundreds of people were injured within an hour in Beirut, Bekaa, Nabatih and South Lebanon.
Locals say that mobile phones and other appliances also exploded in the houses. After these explosions, the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah increased. Hezbollah launched missiles to retaliate against Israel. The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said that about 20 rockets were fired from Lebanon at Kiryat Shmona, and some of the rockets were intercepted.
