The High Court delivered a major blow to the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi Party by dismissing a petition filed on its behalf. Additionally, the party office in Nalgonda district has been ordered to be demolished within 15 days. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was accused of illegally occupying the BRS party office in Nalgonda, which was allegedly built on government land without proper permissions. Municipal officials have been instructed to carry out the demolition of the illegal construction.
After receiving orders from the minister, the BRS party has become alert and has approached the High Court. A petition was filed in the High Court to compel the officials of the municipal department to regularize the party office. The bench that examined this petition directly asked what type of party office would be allowed after construction. The High Court pointed out that permission should be obtained before construction, and questioned how permission could be sought after construction. As a result, the municipal authorities were ordered to demolish the party office within 15 days. Additionally, the BRS party was ordered to pay a compensation of Rs. 1 lakh.
