Kaun Banega Crorepati has always been a game of intense trivia, nerve-wracking moments, and of course, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. But this time, something truly extraordinary is about to happen on the quiz-based TV reality show. For the first time in the history of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan will be changing the rules mid-game in the ongoing 16th season. This will be aired today, September 16.

It is going to be a regular thrilling episode with contestants seated nervously, eagerly waiting to take the hot seat. Everything will be going as usual with Big B’s charm, his trademark “lock kiya jaaye?” and his heartwarming anecdotes. However, the new promo shows an unexpected twist.

A contestant named Trishul from the small town of Bokaro in Jharkhand makes it to the hot seat. What makes Ravi special wasn’t just his performance; it was his backstory too. He had always been a loyal KBC fan, dreaming of participating in the show for years. And now, there he was, facing the iconic Amitabh Bachchan!

In one particular segment, he seems to be getting stuck in a question. As the lights dim and the tension builds, a voiceover says, “KBC ke itehaas mein pehli baar akhir kyu hue contestant ke liye niyam me badlav?”

Then we see Bachchan sahib do what he does best – make Trishul calm by saying, “aapko pura padhne ke zarurat nahin hain.” The promo then shows Big B closely holding Trishul and telling him something.

However, it isn’t shown what rule was twisted for the contestaant. The promo just keeps us asking for more but we’ll just have to wait and watch.
