Mahbubnagar local body BRS has announced N. Naveen Kumar Reddy as MLC candidate. Party chief KCR has finalized Naveen Kumar as the candidate. The decision was taken according to the opinion of the joint Palamuru district leaders. Naveen Kumar’s hometown is Mamidipalli in Nandigama mandal. He served as the vice-chairman of the joint Palamuru ZP.

Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, who was elected MLC of Mahabubnagar in the quota of local bodies, won as MLA from Kalvakurti in the recently held assembly elections. It is known that he has resigned from his post as MLC. In this background MLC by-elections are going on.

The notification regarding the by-election has already been released. Nominations started on 4th of this month. Nomination papers can be filed till March 11. The nominations will be scrutinized on March 12. The deadline for withdrawal is March 14. Polling will be held on the 28th of this month. Votes will be counted on April 2.
